bummer of a summer WELL! ok, so heres the scoop about my summer. concerning my foot, i am going to get surgery during track season. yay! i will finally get it fixed! you see, on my foot, there is usually a 6-8º separation thing between the big toe metatarsal (i think thats what that bone is called) and the index toe (?)...but for me...you see, my foot type is prone to uhh...mess up (?) i guess, haha, and over the years, those two bones have been sliding out of place and getting farther apart, and what is supposed to be 6-8º is between 15-16º on me....so thats not good. and it hurts when im doing my sports and stuff, its really annoying. hence the reason i get surgery in spring. :-) i would get it this summer, but volleyball starts in about a month...and it takes about 2 months to heal. so for a week next school year, i will be on crutches, woo! haha, i get to be a gimp. im already a gimp...so i guess not much changes only this is a bit farther up the gimp list. so yeah. thats going to be my spring. well, today...we had a garage sale for about 2 hours and then we just decided 'screw it' so we packed up and took it all to salvation army. ryan and i walked around and picked up the signs from the sale, then we went back to his house and hung out until eric came and picked him up (around 3). so i went home. later, my mom and i went to carrs to get something and she wanted to go look on their bulletin board to see who the missing girl was b/c she had seen signs around town. and it turns out..that i know this girl. she played around on my skateboard once, and she went to HODOS and stuff..i cant believe it. its so sad. shes been missing since the 16th. its so strange. this summer hasnt been a good one for me, concerning people i know that are dying and going missing. because, there was Meghan Maroney who used to be one of my best friends a long time ago, and then about a week ago, my sisters friend, Matt Chriswell (whom i knew a bit), he visited our house to say goodbye because he was going over to the east coast and then to Afghanistan from there..but a couple days ago, he was killed in a car crash. :'( it was so sad when i found out. and now this girl. all within a matter of a couple weeks. i was not built to handle so much emotion at once! anyways... sniff :'( depressing depressing. so tired. i havent slept much in the past week. so i should probably get some ZzZz's. nighty night, dont let the bed bugs bite PS i had something in mind to write about tonight...but i forgot what it was. dang +The Last Five+ |
