i never saw wild thing sorry for itself so volleyball started yesterday and might i add, i had quite a good volleyballing day today. we started off by running 2 miles around the track, which was really easy...amazing. thank god i went to that UAA camp last week because it makes this seem incredibly easy. yesterday we did mainly conditioning, aka sprints, 30 second pushups (those hurt sooooo bad), 30 second crunches (easy), more pushups, more sprints, suicides, and then 15 minutes of "queen of the court". that practice flew, but it seemed quite short compared to my 8 hour camp last week. so that was yesterday, and today was the 2 mile run, and then a lot of drills, bumping, setting, hitting lines, "queen of the court", etc etc. it was fun, and i had a good day. im hoping for JV (please please please), and they have had me practicing with JV and Varsity these past couple days. as opposed to the freshmen and some other sophomores. i took a dive today and reopened my knee...again...this has to be about the 10th time (literally) that i have reopened it. oh well. no pain no gain, thats my motto, because believe me, i am in enough pain right now...so im hoping for a big pay off. sounds good to me :-). well, im tired. i might go running tonight...dont know. catch ya later. i never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. a bird will fall frozen dead from a bough, having never felt sorry for itself. +The Last Five+ |
